Can you use AI to make your next marketing video?

AI vs Us

Let’s talk about artificial intelligence.

AI has been ever-growing at a rapid rate in the past few years. It is truly remarkable what AI is capable of accomplishing in all aspects of the digital world.

AI is certainly the new up-and-coming way to streamline tasks, but is it able to carry out our services?

While AI can create an image (and even video) based on any description you provide, it can’t tell the emotional and personal stories your customers have to share. It can’t document and showcase the ranch or farm its steward has spent their whole life-shaping. It can’t film and photograph wildlife’s critical role in an ecosystem.

To truly tell a story, one must be on site to learn the complexities of each journey and what makes it unique. This is something we will always be able to provide.

So, can you use AI to make your next marketing video? While it may be a helpful tool in certain parts of the filmmaking process, it’s not LD Productions.

Ranching Backgrounds

Hiring a production company to film or photograph a farmer or rancher may feel like there will be a disconnect between the production crew and the agricultural producers, causing more time on your end spent communicating your vision. But, it doesn’t have to be!

With our agricultural backgrounds, we can connect to the farmers and ranchers we interview, leading to us knowing the right questions to ask which makes for a stronger film. This also means less time on your end communicating your vision.

As we already understand many of the techniques and concepts you want to highlight in your agricultural or sustainable film, we can streamline the whole production process and make sure your needs are met and delivered seamlessly.

Recent Work

With many ecological benefits of alley cropping, Nick Pate with Raising Cane Ranch in Snohomish, Washington, researches the environmental and economic outcomes of planting apple trees in his hay field. By bringing in the vertical element of apple trees to his hay production, he hopes for an increase in soil microbiology, water retention, wildlife, and more, all while increasing his cider production.

Watch as Nick shares the results and experiences of this Western SARE funded research project.

Fall weather begins in the Rocky Mountains.

A bird dives down to catch its prey.

Calves on an early morning fog expedition.
