Layne Chamberlin
EDITOR | Director, Producer, Post Production
Award-winning editor Layne Chamberlin has over nine years of experience in the film industry. His films and photographs have been featured in numerous publications, including Bioneers, the Santa Barbara Independent, and EarthxTV. He filmed and edited a five-hour real-time documentary about the American West, starring Buck Brannaman, and currently serves as the lead editor for the ongoing Buck Channel. Layne’s experience includes work on Hollywood film sets for clients such as Ford, Ralph Lauren, and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
Trained by industry professionals such as Tony Purpura, William Reynolds, and Lou Douros, Layne understands the importance of meeting client needs, from budget planning to final deliverables. Specializing in post-production, he utilizes the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for editing, and DaVinci Resolve for color grading.
Having grown up on a regenerative cattle ranch, Layne understands the daily lives of farmers and ranchers go through to produce quality food and maintain healthy operations. He has studied the work of Allan Savory, Gabe Brown, and Diana Rodgers, and has attended a Gabe Brown workshop in Big Timber, Montana.
Dylan Chamberlin
CINEMATOGRAPHER | Director, Producer, Marketing Manager, Sound Designer
Dylan Chamberlin has over nine years of experience in the film and photography industry. Her work has been featured on the Aspen Chamber social media and the Environmental Center of San Luis Obispo's platforms. She has also sold numerous prints at various art shows throughout California.
Dylan is an FAA-certified drone pilot, director of photography, and sound designer for film projects. She served as the second director of photography for a Kiss the Ground film featuring Chamberlin Ranch in Los Olivos, California. She also served as the second director of photography for a short documentary produced by Kiss the Ground about Good Culture, a regenerative cottage cheese company. In this role, she collaborated with director and producer Kate Oliva and cinematographer Guido Lois.
Growing up on ranches, Dylan gained firsthand experience in the intricacies of Western ranching. Trained by Vaquero Andy Camacho, she understands the everyday life on a ranch. She has also pursued her interest in regenerative agriculture and sustainability through coursework at Montana State University and independent study of Allan Savory and Gabe Brown.
