Holistic Management International

Holistic Management International (HMI) is a non-profit organization that works with farmers, ranchers, educators, and other land stewards to help them regenerate their land and create a more prosperous future for everyone.

HMI believes that holistic management is a powerful tool for sustainable agriculture and land management. Their approach is based on the idea that all parts of a farm or ranch are interconnected, and that by managing the land as a whole, we can create healthy ecosystems that support both people and nature.

In this video, you will hear from HMI staff, educators, and land stewards about the successes they have achieved through HMI's guidance. You will learn about how holistic management can help to improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and create more resilient farms and ranches.

Collaborative Monitoring for Ranch Resilience in Central Montana

Ranching faces numerous obstacles, and sometimes, your neighbor may have already dealt with your most recent challenge and have valuable insights to offer you.

The Range Monitoring Group (RMG) aims to address the issue of isolated knowledge within its community and increase efficiency by sharing rangeland data among themselves and with federal and state agencies. By doing so, they are creating a more sustainable ecosystem, which in turn leads to a more profitable business for them and their families.
