Sustainable vs Regenerative
We’ve all heard of sustainability and how it maintains ecosystems without degrading them, however, the term regenerative isn’t as well known. Regenerative practices restore systems and enhance the environment through natural inputs and decision making, which is a more effective climate solution than just sustainability. While sustainability is a great option, regeneration is gaining traction and more communities are implementing these practices which is a great step forward for the people and the planet.

Shop Local
Shopping local is a great option for you and your family to support small businesses. Next time you are at the grocery store, look at all of the natural, regenerative, organic, grass-fed and finished options from local farms and ranches near you. You can also attend your local farmers market to get locally grown food near you.
Plastic Free
A simple way to reduce plastic in your daily life is by using a reusable water bottle for around the house and on the go. When you go to the store, bring reusable bags or tell the cashier you won’t be needing a bag today as you will be carrying your groceries out by yourself. When bringing food on the go, bring your own reusable food containers. By keeping these reusable items by the front door or in your car, you are more likely to bring them with you.

Another option to support our planet and it's people is by donating to local non-profits, regenerative farms and ranches, and organizations that support a sustainable planet. We promote regenerative agriculture because it is a sustainable way of farming that creates opportunity to strengthen the quality of the soil, land, livestock, people, and nutritional value of the food we eat.
